I am so proud of Chandler. He has been working on getting his Wolf for Cub Scouts for awhile. His goal was to receive it on the Blue and Gold banquet which was last week. And he was able to get it done just in time. His birthday is not until the end of April, but he wanted to get it done before then.
Each scout was suppose to make an invention for the blue and gold. Nate and Chandler decided on doing an airplane with all the supplies that they gave them. They were given a bag full of supplies and could only use those supplies to make an invention. You could use glue, markers, paint, and tools to cut and color the invention though. Chandler and Nate certainly used power tools to get the job done.
I am so amazed at how awesome our Cubmaster is. She makes the meetings so fun to attend and makes sure all the boys are keeping on track. Sadly we are going to lose her in a few months and we are all really sad to see her go. Luckily they have called someone to take her place that will do a great job. Her shoes are pretty big ones to fill.
The night was filled with lots of yummy food and tons of awards. We were really surprised at how many people showed up, we had to share chairs:) Wesley though was his typical crazy self. I spent most of the time chasing him around the church making sure that he didn't escape or get into trouble. Nate is the Wolf den leader, so he was a little occupied with the evening. From what I saw of it, it was a nice evening for the boys.
